Wednesday handbuilding classes are held in the Lynwood Studio from 10 am - 2 pm on Wednesdays more or less during NSW school terms. The studio is well equipped for handbuilding, with access to a slab roller and coil extruder, and classes cover a range of construction and surface decoration techniques.
Classes take place in the shearing shed studio, a character-filled rural space that reflects the rhythms of the Southern Tablelands. The weather can occasionally make itself felt — bringing a warm jumper is always a good idea.
Tea and coffee-making facilities are available, along with a fridge and microwave. Please bring your own lunch and enjoy a few hours away from the demands of everyday life, immersed in the quiet focus of clay.
