Wednesday and Monday night hand building classes are held in the Lynwood Studio from 10 am - 2 pm on Wednesdays or 6pm - 8 pm on Monday nights during NSW school terms. (I am trialing an evening class on Monday nights, for now. The studio is well equipped for hand building, with a slab roller, coil extruder, and loads of tools to choose from.
Classes cover a wide range of construction and surface decoration techniques.
They take place in the shearing shed studio, a character-filled rural space that reflects the rhythms of the Southern Tablelands. The weather can occasionally make itself felt — bringing a warm jumper is always a good idea.

There is a charge of $10 per kilo for the finished pieces.

Tea and coffee-making facilities are available, along with a fridge and microwave. Please bring your own lunch or snack and enjoy a few hours away from the demands of everyday life, immersed in the quiet focus of clay.
